Wednesday Nov 3, 2010 I would like to personally thank Bethel 40, daughter HIKE Coordinators, HIKE, and Sound Waves for being a part of last night's check presentation. The family told me that the money was for a FM device for Augustin's hearing. It will provide a microphone system for his teachers and parents to better communicate with him. The headset microphone will have a direct FM frequency to his hearing aid. Right now background noise, even in a car, is too much for him to understand normal conversation. This device will help him be able to attend normal schools, understand his Sunday school teacher, and his parents. This is going to make a big difference in his life and means so much to the family. They were very impressed with the girl's ability to sign.
Augustin's little sister was very impressed with the girls outfits. She may be a future Jobie!!!!
